Police and Fire Chiefs to Address the Business Community at the ‘State of Public Safety’ Luncheon
LONG BEACH, Calif. (February 18, 2025) – The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of Public Safety Luncheon on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hotel Maya’s Lagunita Pavilion in Long Beach, California. This event provides an opportunity for business and community leaders to hear directly from Long Beach Fire Department Chief Dennis Buchanan and Long Beach Police Department Chief Wally Hebeish as they discuss the latest developments in public safety, department priorities, and the ongoing efforts to protect residents and businesses throughout the city.The State of Public Safety Luncheon serves as a vital forum for business owners, community stakeholders, and local leaders to stay informed about crime prevention strategies, emergency response advancements, and public safety initiatives shaping Long Beach. Attendees will gain insight into how law enforcement and fire services are working together to enhance safety, address challenges, and build stronger partnerships between public safety agencies and the business community.

The State of Public Safety Luncheon is open to the public, but advance registration is required. Groups and individuals interested must register by February 21, 2025. Hotel Maya is located at 700 Queensway Dr., Long Beach, CA 90802, with valet and self-parking available on-site.
Sponsorship opportunities for the State of Public Safety Luncheon are going fast, with limited availability remaining at select levels. Platinum Level sponsorships are available for $5,000 and include two tables of eight and a full-page ad. Gold Level sponsorships are available for $3,500 and include one table of eight and a full-page ad. Silver Level sponsorships are available for $2,500 and include one table of eight and a half-page ad. Bronze Level sponsorships are available for $1,500 and include one table of eight. Individual seats are available for members at $100 each and future members at $150 each.
