LONG BEACH, Calif., (February 8, 2024) — The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce proudly announces a series of distinguished honors and recognitions received at the recent Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) conference, underscoring The Chamber's unwavering commitment to excellence, leadership, and community service.
  • Decades of Dedicated Service Honored
    Judy Nelson was recognized for her 35 years of exceptional service within the chamber of commerce industry, an extraordinary acknowledgment of her dedication and significant contributions to the chamber's success over the years.
  • Emerging Leaders in Chamber Management
    Natalie Leighton's graduation from the W.A.C.E. academy program marks the culmination of a rigorous three-year journey dedicated to enhancing chamber management skills. Her accomplishment reflects her commitment to professional growth and The Chamber's dedication to fostering leadership talent. She joins President & CEO Jeremy Harris and Controller Ajmaa Heggie as graduates.
  • Innovative Communications Recognized
    The Chamber's 2023 bi-monthly Chamber Express e-newsletter received an honorable mention for its role in maintaining a great connection with members, highlighting our innovative approach to communication and our dedication to keeping our community informed and engaged.
