Screening of The Bridge: Pathways to a Trauma-Informed Community
Join us in experiencing the inspiring promise of trauma-informed communities through a free screening of the documentary, The Bridge: Pathways to a Trauma-Informed Community, presented by The Guidance Center, at The Art Theatre of Long Beach on Wednesday, April 26 at 6 p.m. Through interviews with Long Beach and Catalina Island community leaders and Guidance Center clients, the documentary highlights the effects of poverty on mental health, and how cultivating a trauma-informed community is part of the wider solution for breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty. Immediately following the screening, a panel discussion will be held with some of the experts featured in the film.
