Mighty Earth "Fish Yamaha Out!" Campaign Kickoff Meeting

Care about the future of our oceans? How about access to fish and fishing? Then please join us for… “Fish Yamaha Out!” Campaign Kickoff! The U.S. has some of the most sustainable and profitable fishery management systems in the world. Unfortunately, big companies cut corners to pad their pockets at the expense of our oceans, marine ecosystems, and the livelihood of fishermen. Yamaha, a producer of both musical instruments and boat motors is spending millions to weaken current U.S. fishery policy and prioritize short-term profit over the long-term health of our oceans. And, they're in our backyard. They have a major headquarters right over in Buena Park, CA so we are in a unique position to make our voices heard and convince them to stop meddling in fishery policy. We can live in a world with healthy oceans AND profitable fisheries. If we get large companies like Yamaha to stop supporting harmful legislation that would allow for overfishing, we can protect our oceans for future generations.
