June 27: Volunteer with Ralphs and Food 4 Less/Foods Co. to Feed Wildfire Impacted Families at the Queen Mary

WHAT: Ralphs Grocery Company and Food 4 Less/Foods Co. are calling on community members to volunteer for their Community Day of Service on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach. In partnership with U.S. Hunger, this large-scale event will bring together 2,000 store associates and community volunteers to pack one million nutritious meals for local food banks and hunger relief organizations to support those still recovering from the January wildfires. This is the second in a trifecta series of national volunteer events supported by The Kroger Co. Foundation, and is designed to foster community spirit and fight food insecurity. As a token of appreciation, volunteers will receive a t-shirt to commemorate their service, as well as free admission to the Queen Mary for all volunteers before or after their shift on Friday, June 27, 2025 ($45 per person value). Discounted tours will also be available. In direct response to the January wildfires, Ralphs, Food 4 Less/Foods Co., and The Kroger Family of Companies (NYSE: KR) mobilized disaster relief efforts by delivering food, water, and essential supplies to evacuees, firefighters, and first responders. Following this meal pack event, Kroger will have contributed $1 million in recovery efforts, including donations to the American Red Cross and Feeding America’s local food banks.
