Join the Chamber as we hear from Eric Romero, Business Development Officer at Long Beach City's Economic Development Department on all businesses need to know about the Long Beach Recovery Act and upcoming grant opportunities.

More about Eric Romero: Eric is an experienced economic development and local government professional. He manages a diverse portfolio of programs and projects that support small businesses, revitalize commercial corridors, advance economic opportunity, and improve quality of life. Eric has unique experience in leading business and community outreach strategies, program development and management, public policy, special projects, and strategic planning.
He has the honor of serving in a leadership role for the City of Long Beach Economic Development Department, Business Development Bureau. Eric intends to build a long and successful career in local government and aspires to join an executive leadership team in the coming years.
Eric has a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach.

COVID-19 Event Requirements:
The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has enacted the following guidelines in order to protect the health and safety of our members, the Chamber team, and the community for in-person programming and events. The Chamber will now require proof of full vaccination on the day of the event OR a negative COVID-19 test (antigen test within 24 hours or PCR test within 48 hours of the event).
