Julian Cernuda | 2020 Census Project Manager | Long Beach City Manager's Office
Julian manages the City's internal planning, coordination, and execution of census efforts and helps coordinate a citywide census approach to achieve a complete count of Long Beach residents. Julian was previously a Management Assistant Fellow for the City of Long Beach, where he focused on high priority projects for the City Manager's Office, Police, and Financial Management Departments.
Julian previously led key performance management initiatives for the City of Santa Monica and worked in Charlotte, NC to implement the Affordable Care Act on a citywide and regional level.
He completed his undergraduate education at Wabash College with Political Science and Spanish majors. He was selected as a City and County Management Fellow and earned his Master in Public Administration and Certificate in City and County Management at the Sol Price School of Public Policy, at the University of Southern California.
