Gin & Juice Returns!
Hello! After a year-long hiatus, Gin & Juice: Slow Sippin’, Fast Livin’ is back—and it’s returning with more flavor, more music, and more ways to experience Long Beach’s local spirit. On Sunday, April 6 from 12 to 4 p.m., Roxanne’s will transform its garden into an open-air celebration of craft culture, where the centerpiece isn’t just gin, but a full spectrum of spirits including vodka, liqueurs, and ready-to-drink cocktails. The event’s comeback marks a shift in direction, as organizers aim to open up the experience beyond the usual whiskey and tequila crowd and encourage people to explore lesser-known corners of the spirit world. Set against a backdrop of vinyl DJs and curated vendors, Gin & Juice blends the energy of a neighborhood block party with the sensibilities of a boutique tasting room. Expect sets from London Guzman, Spinorita, Cassandra Dali, and El OMS—all spinning vinyl throughout the day—alongside handcrafted drinks and vintage finds. The vendor market includes local favorites like the Saturation Room, offering ‘90s-style glamour shots, Flowers by Z for fresh florals, and makers like Curious Cortex (chainmail jewelry), Whittier Woodworks, Cositas Vintage, and Indoor Records. Whether you're digging through vinyl crates, trying on retro accessories, or picking up something handcrafted, the market adds an immersive layer to the event's social and sensory atmosphere. Tickets start at $20 for general admission, which includes 10 tasting pours and a welcome Gin & Juice canned cocktail. A $40 VIP ticket adds access to a shaded lounge, a spritz bar experience curated by The Center for Culinary Culture, and a complimentary charcuterie spread. The $60 all-inclusive option includes all VIP perks plus an event t-shirt and three pupusa tacos. Add-on experiences like a behind-the-scenes distillery tour or an infusion class—where guests learn to infuse their own spirits with botanicals—offer even more depth for those looking to learn while they sip. The event is all-ages and pet-friendly, with free parking available on-site. After taking a break last year, Gin & Juice returns not just as a tasting event, but as a love letter to Long Beach’s creative, eclectic spirit—one where music, drinks, and community culture all meet in one garden.
