Far Away by Caryl Churchill
CSULB Theatre Arts Department?s California Repertory Company is thrilled to present Far Away, written by Caryl Churchill and directed by Trevor Biship. A young girl witnesses a horrible event ? or is it an act of revolution? In a series of three scenes, Joan grows up, discovering and acting against a violent world that is evolving around her. A sinister farm house, a beautiful parade, and a nation overtaken by animals play a part in Joan?s ever changing life. But is she changing the world or is the world changing her? One of the most influential living playwrights still writing, British playwright Caryl Churchill creates a haunting dystopian polemic about individual change.

Far Away opens Friday, November 13th and closes December 5th. Performances run Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm. There will be no performances November 25-28.
Location
This production is presented in the University Theatre on the CSULB Campus, accessible via West Campus Drive.
Fees/Admission
Tickets are $25 for general admission and $20 for students, seniors, and military (with valid ID). Convenient parking is available in Parking Lot 7 next to the theatre building for $5.
