Conversations in Place 2016: Intersections - Science & the Humanities
Now in its fifth year, Conversations in Place continues its illuminating exploration of Southern California’s cultures, politics, ecologies, and trajectories into the future. On October 16, the second Conversation will bring together moderator William Deverell and Lori Bettison-Varga, Michael Dickinson, Ursula Heise, Hannah Landecker, and D. J. Waldie to consider how intuition, values, aesthetics, emotions and choice re-direct our moral compass to focus on neighborhood priorities, cultural identities, and equitable well-being.
