On June 2 the historic Avalon Casino Theatre welcomes retro pop culture humorist and author Charles Phoenix with "Catalinaland," a performance that will sweep the audience away on a time travel storytelling and retro slide show adventure exploring the island’s classic landmarks, legends and lore. Experience the island's iconic culture through Phoenix's visual Kodachrome collection paired with his comedic storytelling and learn backstories and glories such as the island's flying fish, bird park, Casino, Wrigley family, the mysterious Catalina-shaped swimming pool, and more various mysteries fun for the whole family!
