Pit Bull Appreciation Day

Pit Bull Appreciation Day is a no-contact community dog event hosted by Blockhead Brigade, a 501c3 nonprofit featuring fun activities and enrichment for your dog, including pack walks, a scavenger hunt, a photo booth, games, raffle, dog adoptions, Day of the Dead Pet Memorial Altar, craft coffee, awesome vendors, pet portraits, community resources & more! The event takes place at Marina Vista Park, 5355 E Eliot St in Long Beach on Saturday, October 10 from 10am-3pm. We love ALL breeds and mixes and all are welcome, but in October in Long Beach, we celebrate blockheads. Admission is free, although there are options to buy raffle tickets or merchandise on the website should you choose to support our mission to keep dogs in their homes through our free resources and programs. No dog intros please.
