Eric Romero is an experienced economic development and local government professional. He manages a diverse portfolio of programs and projects that support small businesses, revitalize commercial corridors, advance economic opportunity, and improve quality of life. Eric has unique experience in leading business and community outreach strategies, program development and management, public policy, special projects, and strategic planning.
He has the honor of serving in a leadership role for the City of Long Beach Economic Development Department, Business Development Bureau. Eric intends to build a long and successful career in local government and aspires to join an executive leadership team in the coming years.
Eric has a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach.
