Long Beach State Athletics sponsors 19 NCAA Division I sports programs, competing in the Big West Conference. As the best overall athletic program in the conference in 6 of the past 9 years, Long Beach State's student-athletes compete for championships on a regional and national level. Most recently the Beach repeated as NCAA Division 1 National Champions in 2018 and 2019.
