About Us

The Long Beach Schools Foundation empowers all students in Long Beach—especially those in underserved West Long Beach communities—by raising and distributing funds for high-quality educational programs. Established in response to significant budget cuts within the Long Beach Unified School District, the Foundation works to sustain critical student supports that were reduced or eliminated, including student support interventions, school counselors, social workers, librarians, athletic programs, and wellness centers.
