About Us

We are a nonprofit organization that provides news and information to greater Long Beach. We cover business, crime, politics, health care and more with a staff of 17. The Long Beach Post is a digital publication founded in 2007, and the Long Beach Business Journal is a digital and quarterly print publication founded in 1985. In October 2023, the two publications became nonprofit entities under the Long Beach Journalism Initiative.
