About Us
Faustino Bernadett is a retired physician and vice president of The Molina Foundation. Dr. Faustino Bernadett’s dedication to educating physicians who care for underserved communities began with his father, Faustino Bernadett, Sr., M.D., a family physician who was at times paid in tamales. His father frequently traveled to Chihuahua, Mexico, his home state, to provide care to the Tarahumara people.
An alumnus of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, Dr. Bernadett practiced anesthesiology in Southern California before transitioning to pain management. After earning an MBA, he used his leadership skills to establish and lead medical groups, as well as an independent practice association, as a physician executive.
Dr. Bernadett, known as Tino, currently serves as vice president of The Molina Foundation. He previously served on the UCSF Foundation Board of Overseers and has served several terms as a commissioner of the Los Angeles County Hospitals and Healthcare Delivery Commission.
