About Us

Assistance League of Long Beach is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to create a community of volunteers to identify and deliver philanthropic services. All of our projects are supported by member service hours and funds raised from our Assistance League Thrift & Vintage Shop, community fundraisers, grants, and donations. Our two signature philanthropic programs are Operation School Bell which provides over 12,000 students in Long Beach Unified School District each year with brand new sets of uniforms and essential school supplies, and our Orthodontic Program offering quality affordable orthodontic care to children in the greater Long Beach area.
