She earned her Bachelor's of Arts at Cal State Long Beach and MBA at USC's Marshall School. She's a member of the Long Beach Rotary\, the LB Chamber\, Toastmasters\, and is the current Chair of the South Coast Higher Education Council\, a consortium of area two-year and four-year universities. She is passionate about education which helps equip graduates to make a difference in fast-growing sectors of the economy.
