Dr. Hacegaba has 20 years of public and private sector experience spanning a variety of industries. Prior to joining the Port\, he worked for the nation's second-largest environmental services company and managed contracts totaling $200 million. In earlier roles\, he served as a Chief of Staff for an elected official\, a business development executive for a growing international company\, a research analyst for a policy research group and as a management consultant.  \n\n\n\nDr. Hacegaba is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds degrees in economics\, business administration and urban planning.  He earned a doctorate in public administration from the University of La Verne.  Dr. Hacegaba has also received the professional designations of Certified Port Executive and Port Professional Manager.
