Julian leads the development and implementation of business attraction\, retention\, and support programs across all the City's business sectors. This includes supporting the City's Business Improvement Districts\, small business support programs\, the Cannabis Equity program\, and the Revolving Loan Fund program.\n\nJulian previously served as an Assistant to the City Manager\, where he engaged in a host of citywide projects of special interest to the City Manager. He started his career at Long Beach as fellow and advanced high priority project for the City Manager's Office\, Financial Management\, and Police Department.\n\nJulian earned his Master in Public Administration\, and a Certificate in City and County Management from the Price School of Public Policy\, at the University of Southern California. He holds A.B degrees in Spanish and Political Science from Wabash \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease bure sure to bring lots of business cards to share with your fellow professionals and be prepared to give a quick 30 second elevator pitch to get to know everyone in the room!
