DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly in-person Good Afternoon Long Beach event!\nJoin the Chamber as we hear from Kristine Hammond\, Executive Director of the Zaferia Business Association.\n\n\n\n\n\nMore about Kristine Hammond: Kristine has been serving as the Executive Director of the Zaferia Business Association since 2015. She works directly with the 7-member Board of Directors\, each of which are volunteers and represent a wide array of businesses. Kristine came to the ZBA by way of her work with the American Institute of Architects\, Long Beach/South Bay chapter. Both organizations are tax-exempt\, mutual benefit corporations.  \n\n \n\nThe Zaferia Business Association (formerly known as the East Anaheim Street Business Alliance "EASBA") was first formed in 1991. The members are the business and commercial property owners within the boundary of Junipero Avenue to the west\, Pacific Coast Highway to the east (including Los Altos Plaza Park)\, 11th Street to the south and 14th Street to the north. It was approved as an official Parking and Business Improvement Area in 2010.\n\n\n\n\n\nBe sure to bring business cards to share while networking and be prepared to share a 30 second elevator pitch with attendees!
