She has planned and executed numerous advertising campaigns in partnership with Long Beach businesses including the Aquarium of the Pacific\, Long Beach Medical Center and many more.\n\n \n\nIn addition to her work at the Long Beach Post and Long Beach Business Journal\, Atira is always looking for ways to give back. Locally\, she is a member of the African American Cultural Center of Long Beach\, having volunteered her communications services in the early stages of the organization's development. As a proud alumna of Milton Hershey School\, a private residential school for underserved children in grades K-12 located in Hershey\, Pennsylvania\, Atira is a passionate advocate for their currently enrolled students\, particularly those of color. She is actively involved with the MHS Alumni Association and volunteers whenever possible in support of programs and initiatives designed to enhance the student experience for every child\, regardless of race.\n\n\n\n\n\nGet to know your fellow Business Members!\n\n\n\nEach of the attendees will have 30 seconds to present an introduction to their business\, so have your best elevator pitch ready and bring plenty of business cards.
