Hosted by Bimbo Bakeries USA\, the Global Energy Race will feature a 10K run option\, certified by USA Track and Field\, as well as a 3K family fun run/walk. The event will offer: music\, motivational announcers and warm-up team\, scenic routes\, cool down recovery zone\, refueling snacks\, games\, commemorative swag\, meet Osito Bimbo\, and much more. The race will be part of a Guinness World Records attempt: The most number of cities participating in the same race on the same day. Bimbo Bakeries USA will donate one loaf of bread per completed 10K to Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. First place male and female winners of the 10K race in each participating city will receive an all-expenses paid trip to run in any 2017 Global Energy Race participant city.
