Laura is a Southern California-native and long-time Long Beach resident\, having lived in the Bixby Knolls and California Heights neighborhoods in Long Beach over the past 20 years. She earned her Bachelor's of Arts at Cal State Long Beach and MBA at USC's Marshall School. She's a member of the Long Beach Rotary\, the LB Chamber\, Toastmasters\, and is the current Chair of the South Coast Higher Education Council\, a consortium of area two-year and four-year universities. She is passionate about education which helps equip graduates to make a difference in fast-growing sectors of the economy.
