Ryan J. Choura is a creative event visionary and founder of Choura Events, a Southbay based boutique event rental company known for design, style, innovative products and large-scale event builds.
After a 15-year career in venue management and marketing, with a focus on social events, galas and weddings, he purchased Anza Party Rentals as the foundation for his true passion to create better events. He wanted to streamline the process for clients by providing one point of contact – a dedicated event professional – to help execute events of any scale. Instead of juggling several inexperienced vendors, he set out to build the one-stop-shop for homeowners, corporate clients and event industry experts.
As a result, Choura Events has emerged as a top 5 tenting company in the Western United States and has been chosen to execute events including the Electric Daisy Carnival, The Taste in Beverly Hills, Weinstein Company’s Golden Globes After Party, Manhattan Wine Auction and a long list of non-profit galas, corporate gatherings and celebrations across California.
Among his numerous accolades spanning the last decade, Choura earned a nod in theTop 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies of 2013 list by the Los Angeles Business Journal, named a ’30 Up and Coming’ event expert to watch by Special Events Magazine and was profiled in the CEO Centerfold for OC Metro in 2010.
